VARIABLE LENGTH TYPE 3428 - STRAIGHT SHANK - LEFT SPIRAL FLUTES - THROUGH HOLES - FOR CAST IRON
Flute long carbide tips (.2841" tool diameter and larger) brazed to one piece hardened alloy steel bodies. Left spiral flutes. When ordering, specify desired length within overall length range. Eliminates need to special order reamers, saving time and money. These reamers have a controlled shank.
Coolant feeding hole in each flute for flushing chips forward through the hole being reamed. Tool geometry and carbide grade appropriate for material being machined.
